Mefar is the leading toll-manufacturer of small volume parenteral and oral preparations, both in glass and polyethylene containers such as ampoules, vials and bottles in Turkey. A joint venture with Hameln Pharmaceuticals, Germany, Mefar is the supplier of above products to all major local pharmaceutical companies, as well as multinationals like Novartis, Roche, Pfizer, Bayer, Lilly etc., both in Turkey and abroad. Mefar has been awarded GMP-certification by the German Health Authorities in 1997 and by MHRA in 2003. The company also acquired EN ISO 9001-2000 certification by BVQI in 2003. Today, Mefar has extended its activities to full service with packaging, warehousing facilities and independent analyzing services.
