It can be used for fluororesins, unsaturated polyester resins, super absorbent resins, UV curing coatings, etc. Because it contains double bonds, it can be used as a polymer monomer; because it contains hydroxyl groups, it can be used as an alcohol for synthesizing esters, and as an added monomer for room temperature curing when manufacturing fluororesins that can be used in organic solvents; because its boiling point is higher than allyl alcohol, but its toxicity is much lower than allyl alcohol, it can replace allyl alcohol as a raw material for various synthetic monomers. It is suitable as a comonomer for synthesizing resins containing hydroxyl functional groups and an intermediate for organosilicon modification.
