Pharmacosmos A/S is a Danish independent company and has since 1965 produced dextran of all relevant molecular weights. Pharmacosmos A/S is the world leading supplier of dextran products with a very high standard of production. The manufactoring process and control are in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice. Pharmacosmos A/S is regularly inspected by health authorities from various countries including the Danish Medicines Agency and the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Furthermore Pharmacosmos A/S is certified by the Council of Europe, European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (Certification if Suitability of Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia)
